Pacific Research Symposium 2024

For the first time in 2022 the Faculty hosted a symposium highlighting the research of our Pacific postgraduate students and staff, and that of our non-Pacific peers conducting research relevant to the Pacific. This year’s symposium will showcase further research and recent developments. In addition, panel discussions will provide an opportunity to consider our place on the world stage: how does our research contribute to global conversations on complex issues such as climate change, Pacific resource management, preserving marine ecosystems? And what are our responsibilities in informing international decisions about the Pacific?
